About Us

YES INSTITUTE has been recognized as an official centre for the preparation of English exams certified by the University of Cambridge. We have also just recently become a Cambridge Learning Partner, one of only 13 schools in Portugal.

We offer various types of courses according to your needs. From the most elementary to the most advanced.

A1 – Beginner

 Very basic everyday phrases, slow and carefully articulated speech, with long pauses, very short and simple texts, familiar names and words.

group-4

A2 – Certification

Basic personal, family or work-related language, enough to meet needs, with slow and clear speech, short and simple texts on family matters.

group-5

B1 – Intermediate

Main points on common topics at work, school or travel, general and specific details with a clear speech, factual texts on subjects of interest.

B2 – Upper Intermediate

Main ideas of complex texts, standard language spoken, live or broadcast, texts with wide vocabulary and high degree of autonomy.

group-7

C1 – Advanced

Prolonged speech on abstract topics, with relative ease, longer texts and their implicit meanings, details in complex texts, even if they are not related to their own specialty.

C2 – Proficient

Virtually everything you hear or read, easily, the entire language spoken in a fast native rhythm, abstract and structurally complex text, as well as literary writings.
